🧠 EnergyLab Programming
Welcome to the EnergyLab Programming page.
This is where I document my journey — one keystroke, one prompt, one breakthrough at a time — in creating a new kind of lab powered by real-time data, plain-language interaction, and the world’s most advanced AI.
🛠️ From Keyboard to Control Center
Building a New Kind of Lab with ChatGPT
What began with a few Arduino NANOs has grown into a fully integrated system of sensors, dashboards, overlays, and cloud connectivity. Every line of code was generated through a conversation — programming not by syntax, but by intent.
This is what I call Programming by Word — or Vibe Computing. The idea is simple: You describe the system you want, and the system takes shape.
🤖 Engineering with ChatGPT
Here’s how ChatGPT has helped me build:
- Real-time overlays using MQTT + InfluxDB
- WordPress plugins from scratch — fully responsive and dynamically powered
- 1-minute energy dashboards and 48-hour trend visualizations
- Auto-synced LAN-to-cloud infrastructure using Python and REST
- Inferred system modes, projected stats, and even narrative logic
Every system on this site was co-engineered with AI. This is collaborative computing — not just automation.

Lessons Learned & Best Practices
- Start with the real-world data. Sensors, measurements, MQTT.
- Use plain language. Describe what you want. Don’t overthink it.
- Iterate visually. Use dashboards and overlays to see what’s working.
- Automate with care. Sync only what matters. Keep it elegant.
- Treat AI as a teammate. You’re not writing code — you’re co-designing logic.

How I’m Building the Future with ChatGPT
This isn’t a solo act. It’s a blueprint for the next generation of makers, educators, and engineers.
EnergyLab is:
- A classroom
- A studio
- A control center
- A proof-of-concept for what AI-powered engineering looks like
And the team? It’s me, you, and the intelligence we bring into the room.
